WHAT ARE THE EFFECTS OF PEPPER FOG?

A one second blast of pepper fog can render an assailant incapacitated for 15 minutes to well over an hour. As pepper fog is an inflammatory agent, it instantly causes:

  • Coughing.
  • Choking.
  • Nausea.
  • Dilating of the capillaries of the eyes causing temporary blindness.
  • Swelling of the mucous membranes to the point at which all but life support breathing is cut off.
  • Intense burning.
