FOG or DIRECT STREAM?

FOG:

  • Offers a larger area of disbursement.
  • Has a shorter range.
  • Affected by strong wind conditions - If you are not careful, the FOG could blow back directly back towards you.
  • It is advised for civilians to carry the FOG variant so that accuracy of aim is not much an issue. You simply POINT & SHOOT. The chemical(OC) will reach the eyes easily causing them to slam shut giving you ample time to get away.

DIRECT STREAM:

  • Offers a greater range - sprays further.
  • Needs a degree of accuracy of aim as the stream is much narrower than the FOG.
  • Less affected by strong winds.
  • The DIRECT STREAM variant is generally more popular in the circles of law enforcement and commercial security companies as their staff undergo various training programs which consequently improve their accuracy of aim.
